A furry art event raising money for LGBTQ+ charities!
What is Pride & Kindness?
Pride & Kindness is an annual online event where furry artists from around the world come together to raise money for LGBTQ+ charities. Everyone who donates is guaranteed to receive art. All people working on the event are volunteers, and all money raised during the event gets donated to charity.
Pride & Kindness started in 2021 as an initiative by three furry artist friends. They had the idea to take small donations and draw a gift for every donor. Knowing they wanted to do more than what the three of them could do alone, they recruited other artists to help. Over 60 small furry artist volunteered to help make art for hundreds of donors, raising over $4000 USD for charities during the first run of the event.
Charities we are supporting this year: Miłość Nie Wyklucza, Mermaids, and The Trevor Project.
2021 - 2023
Miłość Nie Wyklucza (MNW, or Love Does Not Exclude) is an organization that fights for marriage equality for LGBTQ+ people in Poland. Through educating communities and leading equality marches around the country, they strive to create safe spaces for LGBTQ+ people to express their pride as a community.

Mermaids is a UK-based charity focusing on helping trans, non-binary, and other gender diverse young people. Starting from a small group of concerned parents, Mermaids has become one of the leading LGBTQ+ charities in the country. They provide support for trans youth and their families by providing a helpline and other online resources. They also educate people to create communities that are safer for gender nonconforming kids.
2021 & 2023
The Trevor Project is an American-based nonprofit that focuses on suicide prevention LGBTQ youth. They provide resources for crisis intervention, advocate against anti-LGBTQ legislation and policies. They also have a mental health research team that researches effective means to help young LGBTQ people in crisis.

Ollie is the head of the P&K admin team. It was original host of the art-based charity event that later would — with the help of some friends — become Pride & Kindness. He handles the social media, coordinates with charities, and updates official event information like the carrd. He also helps maintain the discord server, contact donors, and deliver art.

Artemy was one of the original members of the P&K admin team. It was critical in shaping the foundation of Pride & Kindness and what this event is about. It was responsible most of the event's graphics that first year. He also helped maintain the discord server, contacted donors, and delivered art.

Sticker • xe/xim • it/its
Sticker was one of the original members of the P&K admin team. Xe was the social media manager for Pride and Kindness. Xe was the predominant force behind the growth of the event. Xe also was the one who coordinated with the charities, handling emails and donations.
